-- Did you always want to be a model? Tell us about how you were discovered.

Modeling was always an idea or thought I had growing up. I was always told “you should model” you should be doing this or that, but growing up in Connecticut there aren’t many opportunities for that. Especially for someone like me who grew up in section 8 housing with not many opportunities or anyone to look at for advice and guidance. When I made the move to Los Angeles that’s when the reality of modeling became realistic. It didn’t take long to be noticed and brought in for meetings with different agencies. I signed up for different casting networks and sure enough agencies would reach out to see if I was interested. NTA Talent was everything for me, they took a meeting with me and since that day I’ve been represented by them for modeling and print as well as commercial.

-- Most recent impulse buy, and why?

I’m not the biggest shopper at all, but when I do shop it’s because I see something I really want whether thats something big or small. My latest buy was a Kobe Bryant jersey that I saw for a damn good price! Kobe was my idol and I’m trying to collect every jersey he ever had. This one was #8 in the white uniforms, it reminded me of the time he hit the game winning shot against the suns when he pumped his fist and grabbed his jersey and pulled it across his chest, moments I’ll never forget.

-- What other passions do you have aside from modeling?

My other passions aside from modeling are health & wellness. I’ve been a fitness trainer/coach for nearly 10 years now. It’s something that really gives me life, being able to help people achieve goals and build confidence within someone is very special. I played basketball all my life and it took a back surgery to end my actual basketball career, fitness was a way for me to stay active and stay disciplined in life. I focus on strength training and fat loss, as well as mental work. Because fitness isn’t just about getting shredded, it’s about the mental therapy that comes with it and being able to use fitness as a tool for everyday life.
