-- Did you always want to be a model? Tell us about how you were discovered.

Growing up, I was frequently told by strangers that I should model because of my height and lanky frame. But being a shy kid, I had zero confidence. Fast forward to the COVID-19 pandemic - I was taking classes on zoom, graduated online, and was job searching during a time when no one was hiring. I was scrolling on Instagram and came across a modeling agency's post that was looking for "new faces". So I submitted on a whim, and the next day I got a response from the agency asking to meet in-person. They signed me after our first meeting and my first job was New York Fashion Week! It all happened so fast, and modeling wasn't something I had always envisioned for myself, but it allowed me to grow out of my comfort zone, and meet so many inspiring and creative individuals. As a Korean-American, mid-size model, I'm grateful to be able to serve as the representation that I deeply lacked as a child. Younger me would be proud :)

-- Most recent impulse buy, and why?

I'm a Facebook Marketplace fiend so I'm always on the hunt for a secondhand treasure on there. Just picked up a cute plant for my new apartment!

-- What other passions do you have aside from modeling?

I'm committed to supporting sustainable initiatives, like the slow fashion movement which prioritizes both people and the planet. Outside of modeling, I like to bike around the city and explore plant-based eateries.
