- Did you always want to be a model? Tell us about how you were discovered.
As long as I could remember I loved story telling. I’m addicted to the feeling of being creative. Modeling has always been a creative outlet for me for as long as I could remember. I’m a strong believer that modeling Is a true form of art. Telling a story by a still and silent portrait. Growing up my best friend was a photographer. We would sit on the floor in Barnes and nobles for hours looking through all the fashion magazines! We would get so inspired, start bouncing ideas around for different photoshoot ideas, discuss location, props, wardrobe, lighting etc. From that moment, there was no looking back because I fell in love with modeling.
- What are your favorite forms of self care and why?
I’m a huge advocate in making your mental health your priority. A form of self care I actively always do, is simply be kind to myself. Especially being in this industry it’s so easy to fall in that trap of being hard on yourself or comparing yourselfto others. Trust me, I’ve been there. Self care for myself is something as small as looking in the mirror and telling myself “I’m worthy of success and happiness. I radiate beauty” life is too short to be your own enemy. If you want to see a positive change in your personal life it starts with the narrative you feed yourself.
- What other passions do you have aside from modeling?
Aside from modeling I’m also an actress and boxer! I have a tremendous amount of love for acting. I’ve been studying the craft since I was 10 years old. Acting is always keeping me on my toes and constantly challenging me in the best way possible. I see a bright future for myself in the world of film and TV. I once performed for a cruise line and was introduced to stunts, from there I began my training in boxing. I’ve been boxing for 4 years now. As a young women in a male dominated sport I feel so empowered and honestly, I feel like a bad ass not to mention it’s a phenomenal workout!
