-- Did you always want to be a model? Tell us about how you were discovered.

If you ask most people they typically have an answer for what they want to be when they grow up. I was the completely opposite, I had zero idea of what I wanted to do or be. When I was young I was scouted in my hometown mall which never went past a short introduction. When I turned 16 I started working at a local boutique, my boss decided to put me in front of the camera to photograph her new pieces in store. Shortly after I applied for Charleston Fashion Week which is where I was first scouted. The rest is history.

-- What are your favorite forms of self care and why?

Aside from shopping, not much. That’s my version of self care. Sometimes my girlfriend and I will take a short trip to reset if she thinks I am starting to burn out or slow down.

-- What other passions do you have aside from modeling?

Muay Thai is one of my favorite hobbies, that's the most active I get. I think this year I would like to make it a point to try new hobbies and find new passions but until then I like to journal, cook, travel and work. I enjoy my career as a model so much that it’s become my favorite hobby/passion. I once read that “If you love what you do then it will never feel like a job” and I can say full heartedly that my career has never felt like a job but more a passion.
